Day 1: Welcome to the City of a Thousand Minarets

Your adventure begins in Cairo. Upon arrival, we’ll meet you for a smooth transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to embrace the local rhythm. You might choose to wander through the medieval beauty of Islamic Cairo, hunt for treasures in the Khan el-Khalili bazaar, or watch the sunset during a peaceful Nile boat trip.

Day 2: Ancient Wonders & The Midnight Express

Start your morning at the world-renowned Egyptian Museum, home to over 100,000 relics. After a 2-3 hour guided tour of the highlights, you’re free to explore the galleries at your own pace. In the afternoon, stand in awe before the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx at Giza. As evening falls, board a first-class sleeper train to drift off to sleep as you travel south to Luxor.

Day 3: The Grandeur of the East Bank

Arrive in Luxor in the early morning light. After settling in, the afternoon is dedicated to the majestic East Bank. Wander through the massive columns of Karnak Temple and the beautifully preserved Luxor Temple, built by Amenhotep III. You’ll spend the night in the heart of ancient Thebes.

Day 4: Secrets of the Pharaohs

Today, cross the Nile to the legendary West Bank. Explore the hidden chambers of the Valley of the Kings and the Valley of the Queens, with an optional visit to the world-famous Tomb of Tutankhamun. Marvel at the towering Colossi of Memnon and the elegant mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut. Enjoy another relaxing night in Luxor.

Day 5: Heading South to Aswan

Board a morning train for a scenic ride to Aswan. After checking into your hotel, the afternoon features a visit to the romantic Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis, and the engineering marvel of the High Dam. The evening is yours to enjoy the relaxed Nubian atmosphere.

Day 6: Island Life & The Return Journey

Spend a tranquil morning sailing on a traditional felucca, visiting the lush Kitchener and Elephantine Islands. Enjoy a final Aswan sunset before boarding your first-class sleeper train in the late afternoon for the journey back to Cairo.

Day 7: Cairo at Your Leisure

Arrive back in Cairo in the early morning. With the entire day free, this is the perfect time to visit any sites you missed, enjoy some final Egyptian cuisine, or simply relax at your hotel and soak in the city’s vibrant energy one last time.

Day 8: Farewell to Egypt

After a final breakfast, enjoy some last-minute sightseeing or shopping. We will provide a private transfer back to the airport in time for your onward flight, marking the end of an unforgettable journey through time.
