Day 1: Welcome to the City of a Thousand Minarets
Touch down in Cairo, where we’ll whisk you away to your hotel to settle in. The afternoon is yours to embrace the city's energy. Lose yourself in the vibrant colors of the Khan el-Khalili bazaar, explore the medieval majesty of the Citadel, or enjoy a peaceful sunset felucca ride as the Nile sparkles beneath you.
Day 2: Ancient Wonders & The Midnight Express
Begin your journey through time at the Egyptian Museum, home to over 100,000 ancient treasures. After a guided highlights tour, enjoy some solo exploration before heading to the Giza Plateau. Stand in awe before the Great Pyramids and the enigmatic Sphinx. As night falls, board a first-class sleeper train, drifting off to sleep as you travel south toward the heart of ancient Thebes.
Day 3: The Magic of Luxor & The Valley of Kings
Wake up in Luxor for a breathtaking day of discovery. Start on the West Bank, exploring the hidden tombs of the Valley of the Kings and the Valley of the Queens. Marvel at the towering Colossi of Memnon and the elegant Temple of Hatshepsut. In the afternoon, cross to the East Bank to wander the massive columns of Karnak and the illuminated Luxor Temple. Later, board the sleeper train for your return journey to Cairo.
Day 4: Farewell to the Nile
Arrive back in Cairo in the early morning light. Enjoy a final Egyptian breakfast or a last-minute stroll through the city before your private transfer takes you to the airport for your flight home.
