Overview
One of the most visited places in the Sinai is the Blue Hole. This 125 mtr deep hole in the reef is one of the most famous dive sites in the world!
The Bedouin Tribes avoided this area, telling stories about an Egyptian princess who drowned herself here, because she wasn’t allowed to marry the man she loved. As a revenge, she calls on unmarried man, to follow her into the depths of the ocean, never to be seen again.
Since 1982 the Blue Hole has become a very busy site. Snorkelers, Scuba Divers, Technical Divers visit the Blue Hole every day! And since a couple of years, the Freedive community is joining them!
Pick up from your hotel. 30-minute drive to the Blue Hole. We will make ourselves comfortable in one of the cozy restaurants along the shore. Snorkel from El Bells to the Blue Hole, have lunch & relax or go for another snorkel inside the Blue Hole.
